Yesterday I felt inspired to write about my experience with hyperhidrosis (anxiety-induced excessive sweating). I saw a Humans of New York post recently and the guy featured had a form of hyperhidrosis that meant his hands were always clammy. Instead of being ashamed, he fucking owned it and was like “I’m the wet hands man! It’s my superpower”. Reading it made me feel less alone and also reminded me I created my blog and Instagram to help you feel less alone too. So...if you want to read about my sweaty pits and how I’m navigating through this, keep reading!
Having anxiety has been fucking hard. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. My journey was lonely, painful, soul-sucking, exhausting and frustrating. It honestly took me years to see my worth, rebuild my confidence, manage my anxiety and get to a point where I hand-on-heart believe my anxiety was a gift. Here are some of those gifts!
My kinesiology sessions with Beanie changed my life. She totally changed my perspective on anxiety, helped me own my story and reminded me I didn't need to be ashamed of who I was. I interviewed Beanie recently to hear more about her experience with anxiety (she had it for 20 years). She shares some beautiful insights and also provides an explanation of what kinesiology actually is.

What makes you anxious? For me, a part of it is attributed to a lack of faith; a fear of the unknown. That’s where my oracle cards come in handy. They give me insight into the week ahead or a current problem or obstacle I’m facing. The cards remind me I’m never alone and that I’m exactly where I need to be. They give me faith and (along with a few other tools), have worked wonders for my mental health.
